In my work I explore the phenomenon of closeness and isolation in the context of modern urban life. The central image is the figure of a person who has turned away from the outside world, as a metaphor for inner isolation and emotional distance. Next to him is placed the silhouette of another person, symbolizing the possibility of intimacy, which is unattainable due to the barriers that a person builds themselves.
The use of glass as an element of the city enhances the perception of cold and alienation in our environment, and embodies not only a physical, but also an emotional wall separating people.
